Practicing The Presence oF God

  Lesson 1: God’s Presence

We are told:

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” (Psalm 42:1-2).

God gave the Tabernacle as a road map into God’s presence. The Tabernacle built in the wilderness was divided into three sections—the Outer Court with the Altar of Sacrifice and Laver, the Holy Place with the Lampstand, Table of Shewbread, and the Golden Altar of Incense, and the Holy of Holies with the Mercy Seat and the Ark of the Covenant. In this remarkable and anointed sessopm, Pastor Benny uses this road map to outline the process for coming into the presence of the Lord. He says:

“You can enter God’s presence as your soul hungers and thirsts for Him. The outer court is where your body calls on the Lord. The Holy Place is where your soul longs for the Lord. And the Holy of Holies is the place where your spirit communes with the Lord.”

  Lesson 2: The Tabernacle

The Tabernacle built in the wilderness was a remarkable pattern for entering into God’s presence—from the Outer Court to the Holy Place and inside the Holy of Holies. It directly relates to each of us as we move through the process from the flesh to the soul and spirit.   Lesson 3: Dreams and Visions

God’s Word says:

”But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams” (Acts 2:16-17).

As part of this revealing study of practicing the presence of God, it’s important to note that the Bible is clear that God speaks through dreams (which reveal God’s plans and purposes) and visions (which reveal His nature). Get ready for powerful teaching on the keys on how to interpret communication from God, including praying for the interpretation., waiting, until God makes the interpretation clear, acting when He gives the interpretation, trusting God to fulfill the dreams and visions, and never losing faith if there is a delay.

 Lesson 4: Hell

What could the study of hell possibly have to do in a class titled “Practicing the Presence of God”? Truth is, the foundational possibility of hell is a direct contrast to being in our Lord’s presence. It means being absent from Him forever. Hell is one of the most well-known of all words from the Bible, and there have been many terms used throughout history to describe the eternal place of torment—Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, and the Lake Of Fire. A great amount has been written and debated about hell, but what does the Word of God teach? Discover what it is, where is it, what takes place there, who are its current inhabitants, and who will be added. Most importantly, since the Bible presents a clear-cut line between a heaven to gain and a hell to shun, it’s a necessity to understand how you and your loved ones can avoid this place of everlasting punishment?

 Lesson 5: Heaven

Have you ever imagined about heaven and moving into the eternal presence of God? Is heaven a real place? Where is it? What does the Bible teach about the first, second, and third heaven? Will there be plants and animals there? What will we do in heaven? In this session, Pastor Benny Hinn offers exciting glimpses into a believer’s eternal dwelling? He shares:

“How I love to read the portions of Scripture, especially in the Book of Revelation, where our future home is described—the twelve gates of pearl, foundations of precious stones, a city of pure gold, and so much more!
